Author: Revision author/editor for all 3 volumes of Wheelock’s Latin Series as well as several other texts related to classics: textbooks, methods texts, and teacher-related issues
Over 40 articles on Latin language, literature, curriculum, and methodology in various publications
Coordinator of Elementary Latin Program and Latin GTA Supervisor
Served on numerous committees at UGA and the University System of Georgia

Recognition Highlights: APA National Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Classics (1984), FLAG Teacher of the Year (1988) and Professor of the Year (2006), CAMWS Service Award (1981), CAMWS Ovatio (1985), Honorary ACL President for Life (1987), UGA Bronze Medallion for Distinguished Public Service (1988), Georgia Governor’s Award in the Humanities (1989), GJCL State Chair’s Award (1994), GCA Founder’s Award (2004), Honorary Editor for Life of The Classical Outlook (2004)
